This commercial might make you cry, or feel warm on the inside or both. Google Chrome commercials tend to be very good at doing that. The song has a very similar affect, give it a listen.
There seems to be a lot of hate on this commercial because the dumb ass people were sending videos of the concert to their friends who were also at the same concert. Makes no sense. That's besides the point, the band playing the show in this commercial are awesome. I saw them preform live yesterday opening for Matt & Kim, they were wild and full of energy. Yes, that's really the name of the song.
This commercial was ridiculous, but what really caught my attention was this song. I do not know much about this band, but the tune was very catchy and I'm going to study them up.
FIFA games always have great songs on their soundtracks. Imagine Dragons is a band to watch out for, they are without a doubt going places. They also have this great energy live, which I've experienced first hand.
My roommates were watching Battle of The Seasons last night, and on one of the commercials for another MTV show that will most likely last 2 seasons, I heard a song I love and know, Don't Slow Down by Matt and Kim. Matt and Kim have amazing energy and upbeat songs, and they are not strangers to the commercial world. The show seems to be about some kids graduating college, entering the real world, and getting trash jobs just to live. Not that creative if you ask me, but the song is worth the mention.
I can't really pronounce the name of this perfume (La vie est belle?) and I have no idea what it smells like, but suddenly I'm interested in the product. And that's exactly what they wanted. Check out the commercial and the song, both are pretty awesome.
This is a fairly new song from Passion Pit and this commercial will definitely help get the word out. If you like the song, check out Passion Pit because they have some other good stuff.
This song is an instant hit, don't be surprised if it's a staple on radio playlists in a few months. iTunes always has a free single of the week, and every once in a while they come through in the clutch. Successful alums of the free single fraternity include Chiddy Bang's "Handclaps and Guitars, Coldplay's "Christmas Lights", M83's "Midnight City", The Gaslight Anthem's "American Slang" and Neon Trees' "Animal" to name a few. So check it out every week and you just might get lucky.
I was glad to see this song in a commercial and to see this band starting to get big. Their EP "Continued Silence" has six songs and literally every one of them is amazing, I highly suggest taking a listen. Heres the commercial and song.
Another inspirational commercial with a song by M83. The song clip used in the commercial is happy, but the actual full length song is a little weird and has a child talking about touching a frog and trippin' balls.
If you've been trying to hide from the dubstep invasion, it's getting harder. Skrillex's Bangarang is featured in this trailer, chock full of A list comedians. Folks, I think it's time we give in and accept dubstep is here to stay for a while. Head to 1:05 to hear the whole bit.
As college kids, naturally we've heard this song and any respective remix you may have heard. It always makes me want to hop out of my seat and bounce around, or in this case, purchase a smart phone.
This commercial has the necessary ingredients for success- a song that gives goosebumps and that one guy with a really long beard. Anyone that has seen a Sam Adams commercial before knows what I'm talking about. Check it out.
One of my favorite bands Matt and Kim released a new song yesterday and is already on a commercial. The Bacardi commercial made their song Daylight blow up back in the day, let's see where this one takes them.
The Ting Tings aren't new to commercial fame- "Shut Up and Let Me Go" blew up from an iPod commercial back in the day. Acura was smart to go back to them for some advertising. Take a listen.
The show looks pretty cool, and they picked a damn good song to go with the trailer. The haunting lyrics remind me a lot of The Gaslight Anthem, another awesome band. The Silent Comedy seems like it has promise, so check both of these groups out.
Who doesn't love Kraft cheese products?? Basically was living off of that delicious junk during finals week. This song caught my attention right away, first commercial song of the summer.
I guess it's not too difficult to find a song that makes you want to lay on a beach with a corona. Regardless, this song certainly does the job. It starts a little slow, but it's definitely easy on the ears and worth a listen. so grab a corona, put on this song and go lay on a beach. or just study for finals like real life people.
This song is pure badassness. If this song tickles your fancy we highly recommend their album, "Passive Me, Aggressive You". We saw it in this GMC Terrain Commercial, but it's also gained popularity through FIFA 12' and apparently the Vampire Diaries..we don't watch that bullshit..heard it from a friend..seriously.
This song has been around a while, but don't be surprised if it makes a comeback as a result of this ad. This song by Johnny Cash is actually a cover of the original Nine Inch Nails version.
I have loved this song since I first heard it in a Original Skateboards video, now it was featured in a new series of I AM NIKON commercials. I don't know much about cameras, but the song made me want to buy a Nikon. The commercial is pretty sweet too.
Never heard of these guys, but the Lowes commercial is great publicity. Sorry for getting this song stuck in your head for the rest of the day. Totally want to mow a lawn right now.
Now we don't claim to be the first to hear this, or even that it's unknown. This song is already all over the place. The thing is, we think it's just starting. It reminds me of Adele cementing her fame with her SNL performance last year. Previous to that she was only known to heartbroken girls who were too mature for Taylor Swift.
If you want people to buy whatever you're selling, put this song in the damn commercial. I've heard it in a Kia Sorrento commercial, a Miller Lite commercial, the Horrible Bosses Trailer, and now here. The rated R trailer is worth watching, but the song starts around 2:40.
Just when you think the bandwagon for KONY 2012 is full, they roll out with a part II. I assume this video will blow up shortly and the song featured will be along for the ride. We've been listening to this bad boy for a while, mostly because we live in dorms full of college kids blasting this shit all the time. The beat drops around 18:30 in the video.
Google uploaded this video today for their new "Project Glass", it looks pretty amazing. The song used isn't well known yet but its getting there, so check it out while its fresh. It's a little slower but still has potential.
This is just the latest in a long list of admittedly catchy songs in apple commercials. Tongue Tied is the epitome of a song that blew up after this exposure, the reason for this blog. I die a little inside every time I admit to liking one of these damn commercials.
